The Wind Tunnel Project

The Wind Tunnel Project is a biennial event that brings together new commissions and performances by UK and international artists at a unique location hidden from public view for over 40 years.

The first edition of The Wind Tunnel Project was in June 2014, in a Grade I listed flight testing warehouse and hangar at Farnborough Business Park, next to Farnborough Airport. The aim of the event is to create a platform to discover the stories of these historic 20th century wind tunnels through a multi-sensory experience.

In addition to The Wind Tunnel Project (TWTP), the tunnels are available for hire year round for events and exhibitions.
